Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and a Firebase UID for authentication. When you use Everthread, we store the story content you create — your messages and the AI-generated responses — so you can return to your stories later.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie (__session) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that collects no personal data and uses no cookies. You can view our public dashboard at any time.

Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication — handles sign-up, login, and email verification.
• Stripe — processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
• Anthropic (Claude) — generates AI story responses. Your story messages are sent to Anthropic's API to produce replies.

Data Retention

Your stories and account data are kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
